SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Welders and sculptors will install 55 new SculptureWalk pieces in downtown Sioux Falls Saturday morning..
Belgian artist Rik Beuselinick brought his work titled “Under Pressure.” Beuselinick says we are under pressure from the moment we're born to be the best. He asked himself how we handle that pressure.
The pieces will line Phillips and Main Avenues and 8th Street. 32 artists will be featured in the year-long display, supported by donations and sponsorships.
SculptureWalk Expo, featuring hundreds of original sculptures, is tomorrow and Sunday in the Washington Pavilion. International artists are available to meet and the public can take part in the seminars or buy sculptures. The Expo is billed as the single largest, free, indoor sculpture exhibit in the upper midwest.
