SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - This is National Travel and Tourism week and for Sioux Falls that industry generated over $380 million dollars in economic impact last year.
Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Executive Director Teri Schmidt says over 1.5 million visitors came to Sioux Falls last year. She says travel and tourism support 28,000 jobs in South Dakota each year Schmidt says C-V-B will host inner-city familiarization tours for front-line hospitality staff on how to cross-promote Sioux Falls.
