SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Authorities identify the driver wanted in last week’s single vehicle accident, where officers found components of a meth lab in the trunk, as 34-year-old Jason Craig Oldehoff.

Minnehaha County Detective Ryan Qualseth says Oldehoff hit a utility pole at 18th and Bahnson and fled the scene leaving two passengers behind.

Qualseth says Oldehoff is believed to be in Sioux Falls.  The detective does not consider Oldehoff to be armed and dangerous.  But, Qualseth says, he's charged with making methamphetamine and he's probably paranoid and unpredictable.  Oldehoff is not a person you want to confront on your own so call 9-1-1 and let the authorities deal with him.

Qualseth says the warrant for Oldehoff charges him with making methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
