Uptown at the Falls' first office development

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -  It’ll be the last thing you see before taking the curve entering Falls Park from the south, off Phillips Avenue.

Jon Brown says his company, Stockwell Engineers, will build the first new office space in Uptown at the Falls.  The development will build on City-owned property north of Second Street along Phillips Avenue.

A final purchase agreement has to be approved before the project can proceed

Plans call for a two-level building with 10,000 square feet at a cost of $2 million dollars.  Director of Community Development Darrin Smith says it's neccessary to create a development that's compatible with and complementary to the Downtown Sioux Falls environment.
