SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a 29-year-old Sioux Falls man was facing eviction for allegedly threatening other apartment residents with a knife and shooting arrows into the ground.
Officer Sam Clemens says Christopher Clyde Halsey, armed with a bow and arrow, yesterday refused to allow fellow tenants into the South Spring Avenue complex.
Clemens says when the landlord arrived Halsey allegedly threatened him with the bow and arrow. The landlord called police who found Halsey in front of the complex with the bow and arrow notched on the string. He surrendered peacefully and police found a jousting sword and a fixed blade knife laying next to him.
Halsey is charged aggravated assault.
