SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Tea Area School Board tonight could set an unofficial date in September for a fourth bond issue.
Superintendent Jennifer Lowery says the new proposal will be similar to the last bond issue to expand the elementary school and build a performing arts center for the high school.
Lowery says the Board may split the two projects at the polls. The previous bond issues covered both projects with one lump sum.
The Tea School District is using capital outlay certificates to build an elementary school in west Sioux Falls on property it’s buying from Sanford Health.
