SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Early June drought was replaced with widespread flooding.
Canton received over 8 inches just two weeks ago and some locations got monthly rainfall amounts as high as 18 inches.
It was the wettest month on record in Sioux Falls with 13.7 inches of rain. It’s the eighth wettest half-year on record at 18.68 inches.
Sioux Falls is almost 5.5 inches above normal for the year.
July will start out windy and cooler with showers. Lows tonight will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s, just above record lows.
