SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) Lewis Drug, Inc. is expanding its chain of pharmacies further across South Dakota and Minnesota. Today, Lewis is announcing the acquisition of all six Liebe Drug Stores.

The new drug stores are located in Milbank and Wilmot, South Dakota as well as Appleton, Ortonville, Browns Valley and Graceville, Minnesota. Lewis believes the additional pharmacies are a natural complement to the other 40 Lewis Drug Stores and Lewis Family Drug Stores that are located across three states.

“We look forward to a smooth transition and to continuing the high level of service that Liebe Drug has provided to its customers for more than 40 years,” said Mark Griffin, CEO for Lewis Drug Stores. “At Lewis, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and convenience, along with the best selection of merchandise at a competitive price.”

Lewis Drug, Inc. was established in 1942 as the first self-service drug store in South Dakota. For over 72 years, shoppers have trusted family-owned Lewis Drug as their neighborhood store and pharmacy. With 46 stores through South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa, Lewis Drug aims to always be your first stop for everything on your list.
