SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - It’s important that all students have a good first day of school because it can set the trend for the rest of the year
Darcy Jensen says that’s the goal of Saturday’s free, Back-to-School Fair at the Washington Pavilion. She says the fair is a one-stop event to prepare for the first day of school.
The Fair offers free vision screenings, early childhood screenings, back-to-school information, safety demonstrations and dental tips. There's a free lunch starting at 11 a.m.
Pre-school through 12th grade students must attend with a parent or guardian. There’s also a free kid’s new sock and underwear giveaway. The Fair is for all students through out the Sioux Empire
Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
