Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – Faith and Teressa Rasmussen appeared in court today, pleading guilty to distributing marijuana in Sioux Falls. Charges against the pair stemmed from the 2013 killing of Jordan LeBeau, who was gunned down in an attempted robbery. LeBeau was serving as a distributor for the Rasmussens, selling drugs that the two would have shipped in from California.
Both women will plead guilty to the charges against them, and will be sentenced later this year. For pleading guilty to federal drug charges, Faith is facing up to 50 years in prison. Teressa will plead guilty to federal drug conspiracy, which could bring her up to 5 years in federal prision. It’s unclear if LeBau had a larger role in the ring.
