SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Muggy and sticky describe the weather for the Labor Day weekend.
Sioux Falls meteorologist Mike Fuss says this system is in no hurry to move through. While the weather will be humid this weekend, thankfully it won't be extremely hot.
Fuss says there’s a good chance for heavy rain Sunday and Sunday night.
Meanwhile, there were no injuries or damage from a tornado that crawled through Yankton County last night.
Fuss says conditions weren’t favorable for the twister to pack a punch. He says it couldn't have been on the ground too long or it skipped it's way through parts of Yankton and Turner Counties.
The funnel came from a small storm and touched down near Mayfield.
