Street Maintenance – 49th Street from Cliff Avenue to Southeastern Avenue
Beginning Monday, September 8, 2014, asphalt crack leveling will begin on 49th Street from Cliff Avenue to Southeastern Avenue. Lane closures are to be expected for maintenance, but traffic will be maintained in all directions at all times. This work is expected to take approximately two days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Street Maintenance – 41st Street from Southeastern Avenue to Bahnson Avenue
Beginning Saturday, September 6, 2014, asphalt crack sealing will begin on 41st Street from Southeastern Avenue to Bahnson Avenue. Lane closures are to be expected for maintenance, but traffic will be maintained in all directions at all times. This work is expected to take approximately one day.

Lane Closure – Cleveland Avenue
On Monday morning, September 8, 2014, the northbound lane on Cleveland Avenue will be closed north of Tenth Street. Northbound traffic will use the southbound left-turn lane.
MidAmerican Energy will be repairing a gas line. The work is anticipated to be finished by the evening of September 12, 2014.

Lane Closure – South Terry Avenue
Beginning on Monday, September 8, 2014, work will begin at the intersection of 47th Street and Terry Avenue. This work will include fillets, curb and gutter, valley gutter, storm sewer improvements, asphalt surfacing, and sidewalk. The closure is anticipated to last two to three weeks.
The intersection of 47th Street and Terry Avenue will be closed and traffic should use an alternate route. The intersection is anticipated to be opened to traffic by September 29, 2014.
Lane Closure – Tenth Street
On Tuesday morning, September 9, 2014, the westbound lane on Tenth Street will be closed east of Western Avenue. Traffic will be shifted, but will be maintained in both directions at all times. The closure will be removed by 4:00 p.m. each day.
The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department will be performing utility repairs. The work is anticipated to be finished by the evening of September 12, 2014.

Emerald Acres Drainage Channel
Beginning Monday September 8, 2014, work will begin to perform repairs and restoration to the Emerald Acres Drainage Channel.
69th Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Mustang Avenue to Shadow Ridge Avenue to allow the contractor to access the drainage channel.
This work is anticipated to be completed mid October.
