Sioux Falls S.D. (KELO AM) - Mayor Mike Huether invites the public to the official ribbon cutting of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Friday, September 19, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. Stay for the “Come One, Come All” open houses from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday and from1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.
Walk throughout the venue and enjoy discounted food selections from the concession stands, free entertainment, activities for the kids, and more. A full list of local entertainment provided on three stages during the open houses is available atwww.dennysanfordpremiercenter.com. This event is FREE to the public.
Other grand opening events include:
- · The Rock & Roll Ramp-Up Concert featuring Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, with special guest Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, will break in the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Wednesday, September 24, at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at the Arena box office, www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800-745-3000, or any Ticketmaster outlet.
- · Jason Aldean’s Burn It Down World Tour, with special guest Florida Georgia Line and opening act Tyler Farr, is the grand opening concert on October 3 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is sold out.
- · A Community Open Skate with the Sioux Falls Stampede is scheduled forTuesday, October 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Stampede players will be on the ice and available for autographs and photos. The public is asked to bring their own skates.This event is FREE to the public.
- · Demi Lovato will take the stage on October 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Arena box office and www.ticketmaster.com.
- · The Sioux Falls Stampede will open its first season on its new home ice onSaturday, October 11, at 7:05 p.m. against Waterloo.
