SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a transient is accused of raping a homeless female near the loading docks of the Salvation Army early Sunday morning.
Officer Sam Clemens says the victim was going to sleep at the North Cliff location when 46-year-old Keith Horned Eagle allegedly raped her.
Clemens says after the attack the victim pretended to go to sleep and eventually Horned Eagle did go to steep. He says she walked to a nearby convenience store and called police.
When officers arrived on scene Horned Eagle was still there.
Clemens says Horned Eagle is charged with second degree rape.
