Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) -- Money and support from political action committees and main parties are becoming the topic in South Dakota's U.S. Senate election. Democrat Rick Weiland says he's planning to tell two out of state PACs to stop spending to promote his campaign, since he's said he is against "big money" buying in to races....meanwhile Republican candidate and former South Dakota Mike Rounds is getting a boost from the Republican National Senatorial Committee. The group plans to spend over one million dollars on TV ads on his behalf. This week, the "Sunday Shows", such as Fox News Sunday and NBC's Meet the Press, featured segments on the South Dakota Senate race, which features Democrat Weiland, Republican Rounds, Independent and former Senator Larry Pressler and Independent Gordon Howie.
