Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Two Sioux Falls residents were killed in a two vehicle accident in the western part of the city Friday night.
Sioux Falls police were called to the scene on West 26th Street and St. Michaels Circle around 7:20 Friday night. A northbound Geo Metro attempted to cross 26th Street from Edna Avenue to St. Michaels Circle, when it was struck by a westbound Hyundai Sonata.
Both occupants of the Geo Metro were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the occupants of the Hyundai was treated for minor injuries.
Speed or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. The victim’s identities are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
