SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO AM) – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says painting of the bridge over Split Rock Creek on Highway 11 will begin Monday, Oct. 27.
This work was originally scheduled to begin Oct. 7.
The bridge is located one-and-a-half miles north of the Highway 11 and Highway 42 intersection.
Motorists are advised the bridge will be reduced to one lane and traffic controlled with a traffic signal at each end.
The overall project completion of the bridge painting is Nov. 3.
The prime contractor for the $575,000 project is Pacific Painting Company of Munster, Indiana.
