SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The city’s reduction of Main Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls to a two-lane road was a pilot project intended to return to three lanes before winter.
City Councilor Michele Erpenbach believes the council should reconsider expanding and again reducing lanes.
Erpenbach has a difficult time supporting three land for Main this winter and returning to two lanes in the spring. She says she'll say no in the spring. She says it isn't fair to drivers.
The Main Avenue pilot project was to end Monday with the removal of barriers.
