Remember that others are relying on you to make sure they can travel safely throughout our community. The elderly, disabled, and school children especially need sidewalks cleared for safe passage during the winter months.
City ordinances require the owner or person in possession of any property abutting on any sidewalk to keep the sidewalk free from snow and ice, and to remove any snow or ice from the sidewalk within 48 hours after the termination of any snow fall, snow, or ice accumulation. Please also remember to assist your neighbors who might need help clearing their sidewalks.
