SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a Sioux Falls man faces kidnapping and aggravated assault charges after demanding his victim identify a third man’s residence.
Officer Sam Clemens says 22-year-old William Joseph Lowe allegedly rested a handgun on the console of his car while forcing his 25-year-old male victim to identify an acquaintance’s home.
Clemens says the victim got into Lowe's car voluntarily but that's when the gun appeared and Lowe told the victim that he was not free to leave.
Clemens says the victim randomly pointed to a house and Lowe let him go.
Lowe was arrested early this morning at his own home.
Investigators haven’t determined why Lowe was looking for the third man.
