Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Hundreds upon hundreds lined Phillips Avenue Friday night for the 2014 Parade of Lights. For many the event has become a family tradition, with 3 and 4 generations taking in the lights as a yearly tradition. Others called it the perfect event to kick off the Christmas season. Some said the warmer weather made the event a good excuse to get outside for some fresh air.
This year’s event featured free wifi along the route courtesy of sponsor CenturyLink, and thanks to social media a one of a kind photo slideshow with snapshots taken by parade-goers was presented during the awards ceremony.
