UPS worker faces grand theft charges

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -  A Sioux Falls UPS worker is accused of concealing a package containing five-thousand dollars’ worth of precious metals.

Officer Sam Clemens says 31-year-old Derek Eugene Gross of Parker is charged with grand theft.Clemens couldn't say what the precious metals were.  He says Gross tried concealing the package in his pants.               

Clemens says UPS investigators alerted police about Gross.
