Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The City of Sioux Falls issued a snow alert Monday Afternoon to help plows keep up with the Canadian Clipper roaring through. Tea, Lennox and Brandon also issued snow alerts.
City Streets Chief, Galynn Huber says the snow was coming down so hard during Monday rush hour that his crews couldn't keep up with it. The National Weather Service predicted around 6 inches of accumulation before the storm moved on Monday evening.
Huber says the best way citizens can help his crews during a snow alert is to gell all vehicles off the street, including trailers.
