SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Fire Rescue says residents safely escaped their burning home on South Sherman Avenue around 8:30 last night.
When crews arrived, smoke and flames were coming out the second floor and the residents were leaving.
The fire was controlled in fifteen minutes and the house sustained moderate smoke and fire damage.
Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The house is located just east of Nelson Park in central Sioux Falls.
