SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The renovated Falls Park Visitor Center is re-opened after a month-long facelift.
Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Teri Schmidt says after hundreds of thousands of visitors wade through the doors, wear-and-tear begins showing.
Schmidt says over 500,000 visitors went to Falls Park last year and over 187,00 signed the guest registration.
Schmidt says the walls are bright red, new countertops and colorful new merchandise fill the racks.
The Visitor Information Center opened in 2001.
