SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Volunteers collected two tons of garbage from the Big Sioux River last year and the City plans to double the area to clean this year.
Coordinator Matt Gedney says more partnering agencies and volunteers will be needed.
Interested organizations can contact the Public Works Environmental Division at 367-8276.
Gedney says specific pickup points are still being determined and will be announced soon.
The Greenway Cleanup is Saturday, May 6th from 8 to 11 a-m.
