SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Most outdoor sportsmen in the upper Midwest take their ability to hunt and fish for granted.
But the Outdoor Adventure Foundation takes disabled veterans and terminally ill children on outdoor adventures.
Vern Boer with OAF, and host of Wild Dakota Outdoor Television, says the hunting and fishing trips allow the kids and veterans to focus on the outdoors and for awhile forget about their personal situations.
Vern Boer says the Foundation is holding a fundraiser dinner and auction tomorrow (3/28) at the Ramada on Russell.
