SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls, Brookings and Mitchell will be under a freeze warning for the next two mornings.
Meteorologist Todd Heitkamp says lows will dip to the mid-twenties. Heitkamp advises covering young plants or bring them indside it possible. He says the conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Tempertaures will be in the mid-twenties for three to five hours. Mostly clear skies and northwest winds will allow for the cooling.
Record lows this time of year are in the mid-teens. High in the sixties are forecast for Monday.
