Fire Rescue claims first charity hoops win

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Fire Rescue smoked the police in a basketball fundraiser Friday night 62 to 41.

Officer Sam Clemens says they raised more money than they expected.  Clemens says the firefighters raised $670 for the St. Florian Fire and Burn Foundation and police raised $549 for the Family Vistitation Center.  The winner claimed 55% of the take at the gate.               

Fire Rescue is the first winner of the new traveling trophy.
