Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Fareway Stores Inc. broke ground Friday on an east side grocery store, and executives are touring the city looking at future locations.
The store on the southwest corner of 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue is scheduled to open early next year and will employ between 60 and 80 people.
The Argus Leader is reporting that Fareway CEO Reynolds Cramer says Sioux Falls could support more locations.
Fareway opened their first Sioux Falls store on West 41st Street in 2013. The Boone, Iowa based company currently has 112 stores in five states.
