Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM)- Saturday night's strong storms dumped alot of rain across areas of the northern Sioux Empire. Residents in the Moody County town of Colman are dealing with sewage backups, flooded yards and basements. Just to the west in Lake County, Emergency Manager Doug Huntrods says crews had to close some roads due to water up to a foot over the byways. He saidhis office received a report of more than six inches of rain near Chester. Just over a half inch of rain fell in the Sioux Falls area during the storms. The National Weather Service has put a flood warning into effect til Monday evening for the Big Sioux River near Dell Rapids.
