SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say two Sioux Falls men were treated for knife wounds after a fight in the parking lot of the Sudanese General Store on West 11th Street Thursday night.
Officer Sam Clemens says investigators don’t know what sparked the fight between the victims and two suspects.
Clemens says a 32-year-old victim suffered a severe cut to his hand while a 24-year-old victim suffered severe cuts to his feet. Clemens says that vicitm was trying to kick the knife out of the suspect's hand and believes that's how he suffers those wounds.
The vicitm's describe the knife as a small machete but police didn't recover it. The suspects fled before police arrived.
Clemens says the victims told investigators they had never seen the suspects before.
