SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police are investigating separate, non-fatal stabbings where both victims suffered knife wounds to their backs.
Officer Sam Clemens says a 31-year-old Sioux Falls man was stabbed Saturday night in his apartment on South Charlotte Avenue by a man he had been drinking with and they got into an argument.
Clemens says a 23-year-old Sioux Falls man suffered a punctured lung and a wound to his liver when he was stabbed early this morning outside a trailer on North Teal Place. There was an argument between the two men and the victim ran out of the trailer only to be chased down by the suspect. The suspect fled in his car which police found abandoned in southeast Sioux Falls.
Clemens says police have a suspect’s name in the Saturday stabbing and say 44-year-old Mitchell Ray Wynder of Sioux Falls is a person of interest in this morning’s incident.
