Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - here are the projucts getting unserway this week that could have am effect on your commute:
Street Closure – South Grange Avenue
Beginning on Monday morning, July 20, 2015, South Grange Avenue will be closed between West 12th Street and West Sioux Street.
D&G Concrete Construction will be installing a sanitary sewer pipe and manhole in the roadway for the West 12th Street and South Grange Avenue Access Roads Project. Traffic will be detoured on West 12th Street, Western Avenue, and West 18th Street.
The closure is anticipated to last four days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Traffic Switch
Cliff Avenue and 69th Street
Beginning on Monday, July 20, 2015, traffic on Cliff Avenue, north of 69th Street to Libby Lane, will be switched from the east side of Cliff Avenue to the west side of Cliff Avenue. This is to allow work to proceed for the next phase of the Cliff Avenue Reconstruction Project. As part of this work, westbound traffic on 69th Street currently traveling on the south side of 69th Street will be transitioned to the north side of 69th Street through the Cliff Avenue intersection. Eastbound traffic on 69th Street will remain on the south side of 69th Street.
The entire project is anticipated to be completed by November 6, 2015.
