SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a Sioux Falls man, who was a person of interest in yesterday’s non-fatal stabbing on North Teal Place, was arrested this morning for aggravated assault.
Officer Sam Clemens says 44 year old Mitchell Ray Wynder was a passenger in a car stopped in northeast Sioux Falls around 9:30 Tuesday morning.
Clemens says Wynder is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man, one of three other people he was staying with. Wynder is the ex-boyfriend of a woman who lives with her daughter and her boyfriend, the stabbing victim. Clemens says they asked Wynder to leave which led to an argument and eventually the stabbing.
Clemens says Wynder is faces a second aggravated assault charge for sending a threatening text to his ex-girlfriend.
