SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - FEMA and the state office of Emergency Management hold a flood insurance map meeting Tuesday for residents north of I-90 along Cliff Avenue.
Jeff Schmitt with city zoning and planning says properties there have been added to the maps and this is an opportunity to offer comments.
Scmitt says the maps are not final yet and they could change. But he says it's less than a one percent chance that FEMA will change the maps.
Tuesday’s meeting is at the Downtown Library and Wednesday’s meeting for Sioux Falls residents is at the Instructional Planning Center.
