SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Senator John Thune and twenty colleagues last night introduced a bill to defund Planned Parenthood.
Thune says the bill protects funding for women’s health services by shifting that money to other clinics.Thune says there are some practices at Planned Parenthood that have come to light recently and he believes that no matter where you stand on the issue of abortion that most consider them to be appalling and inhuman.
Thune believes the Senate will take up the measure next week.
