SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -The Sioux Falls City Council tomorrow hears second reading of an ordinance raising transit and paratransit rates.
Councilor Greg Jamison knows the increase is unpopular but is needed.
Jamison says federal funding is disappearing or changing, coupled with no rate hikes for some time means something must be done to keep transit and paratransit healthy.
The monthly pass for adults and students will be thirty dollars.
The Sioux Falls City Council meets Tuesday night at 7 at Carnagie Town Hall
