SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Saturday is the third annual “Cast With a Cop” kid’s fishing event in Sioux Falls.
Officer Sam Clemens says 30 kids, picked by The Banquet, will fish with officers at a private pond owned by Soukup Construction.
Clemens says the pond is well-stocked and kids last year caught about 200 fish. He says every kid caught more than one fish.
Game, Fish and Parks is providing the equipment. Police officers, sheriff's deputies and Highway Patrol Troopers will be fishing along side the kids.
