SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls husband and wife face multiple charges after he banged on the door of a home on South Riverdale Road yesterday afternoon yelling to the occupants that they owed him money.
Officer Sam Clemens says a 33 year old woman and her 60 year old mother say it sounded as if he were trying to break into the home.
Clemens says after 29 year old Cody Lee VanLoh broke out some of the windows to the victim’s car, he got into a truck driven by his wife. He says an officer spotted the truck and began a pursuit. The truck pulled into a driveway in the 600 block of North Wayland Avenue which is where the suspects live.
Clemens says VanLoh is charged with two counts of simple assault and felony damage to property, for causing $2,300 damage to victim’s car.
His wife, 28-year-old Kimberly Ann VanAlsburg, is charged with D-W-I second, revoked license, eluding and open container.
The victims have no idea why the suspects came to their door.
