SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a Sioux Falls man and woman are accused of trafficking two women for prostitution.
Lieutenant Dave McIntire says undercover investigators answered an on-line ad related to prostitution.
McIntire says the women agreed to meet the undercover officers, agreeing to perform sex acts for money. He says the street crimes detectives soon learned the two women were allegedly being forced into prostitution against their will by two Sioux Falls' residents.
25-year-old Jerrid Lee Morris and 32-year-old Duwanda Annette Smiley are charged with human trafficking. Reports show Morris is being held on $250,000 cash-only bond, while Smiley's bond was set at $100,000. Morris' bond was increased because he was seen as having a more violent role in the ring, which came to light when one victim testified that he would point a gun at her and tell her to "go make me some money."
McIntire says 28-year-old Ycenia Brown and 24-year-old Shaves Brown, also residents of the house on North Terrace Place, face felony drug charges.
