SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man is facing a second driving while intoxicated charge after hitting a parked police car with an officer inside on Kiwanis Avenue.
Officer Sam Clemens says 59-year-old Guy Virgil Leatherberry did not stop until he got to Russell Street.
Clemens says there was $800 damage done to his car and there was $2,000 damage done to the police SUV, a 2013 Ford Explorer. He says Leatherberry's preliminary breath test was .24.
Clemens says Leatherberry is also charged with hit and run and no insurance.
