SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Augustana College today became Augustana University.
The Board of Trustees says “university” speaks of the breadth of learning for undergraduate and graduate students, with an emphasis on cutting edge research.
President Rob Oliver says the name change illustrates an investment in Augustana that will the experience to the next level.
The Froiland Science Complex is under construction and there are plans for a new 125,000 square foot Student Activities Center at the corner of Grange and 33rd, across from the Elmen Center.
