SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls public school students begin classes Tuesday after Labor Day.
Lieutenant Dave McIntire says officers have been watching school zones for parochial schools but the effort goes city wide Tuesday.
McIntire advises motorists to give themselves more time to get to work Tuesday morning. He says you will run into those school zone, the lights are going to be on, signs will be up, buses will be loading and unloading and officers will be there checking vehilce speeds.
The first goal motorists should have, though, is getting safely through the holiday weekend traffic.
The school zone speed limit is 15 mph.
