Street Closure – West Blackhawk Street
Beginning on Monday morning, September 14, 2015, West Blackhawk Street will be closed between ‘A’ Avenue and North Minnesota Avenue.
Xcel will be performing utility work which is anticipated to be finished by the evening of September 14, 2015.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures on 12th Street
Kiwanis Avenue to Carolyn Avenue
Starting on Monday, September 14, 2015, various single lane closures will occur in both eastbound and westbound lanes on 12th Street between Kiwanis Avenue and Carolyn Avenue. This will allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs. Turning movements through some intersections may be limited for large vehicles at times. Drivers should remain alert to changing road conditions and slowed or stopped traffic near the work zone.
This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September, 2015.

Lane Closure – West 41st Street
Beginning on Monday, September 14, 2015, a portion of the outside east bound lane of West 41st Street at Gateway Boulevard will be closed for an inlet repair project.
With weather permitting, this portion of the project is anticipated to be completed by September 18, 2015.

Bike Trail Closure – Yankton Trail Park
Beginning on Monday, September 14, 2015, the bike trail through Yankton Trail Park will be closed to allow construction crews to reconstruct the bike trail through the park. A detour route will be provided for all trail users around the construction zone.

Madison Street Closing
La Mesa Drive to Valley View Road
Beginning on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, West Madison Street from La Mesa Drive to ½ mile east (Valley View Road) will be closed to all traffic for the Madison Street paving project. The intersection of Madison Street and La Mesa Drive will remain open. Work will include grading, base course and asphalt paving.
Madison Street is scheduled to be open to through traffic by October 15, 2015.

Lane Closure – North Cleveland Avenue
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning, September 14, 2015, the northbound lane of North Cleveland Avenue will be closed between East Tenth Street and North Chapel Hill Road. Northbound traffic will be shifted to the southbound left turn lane.
Q3 Contracting will be replacing a gas valve in Cleveland Avenue which is expected to be complete by the end of the day on September 16, 2015.
