SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - It’s become an all too familiar process: Sioux Falls street crime’s detectives answer online ads for prostitution and arrest an out-of-town woman.
Officer Sam Clemens says the latest arrest was a 30-year-old from Peoria, Arizona.
Clemens says detectives answer the online ad and make arrangements to meet with the woman at a motel in town. He says once the woman agrees to a price in exchange for sexual contact, the arrest is made.
He says Sahara Latra Gibson was charged with one count of prostitution and it doesn't appear that she was working with anyone or is being trafficked.
Prostitution is a misdemeanor.
