Avera Now opening soon in Sioux Falls Hy-Vee's

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Avera today unveiled its partnership with Hy-Vee as a virtual health clinic.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Preston Renshaw says the web-based Avera Now will open Monday at the Hy-Vee on South Minnesota Avenue.

Renshaw says the service will be available to individual policy holders and fully insured, employer group members.  He says the Hy-Vee based kiosk offers potential savings of almost fifty dollars, the cost of an office visit, for simple illnesses like colds, flu or stomach aches.

Renshaw says you don’t have to be an established patient of Avera Now to use it.
