SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Turner County’s handling of a planning and zoning revision for large-scale feedlots caught the eye of Minnehaha County Commissioner Jeff Barth.
He was at last week’s meeting in Parker where residents filled the room and spilled out into the hallway.
Barth says it may be a better idea to seek input first on major zoning changes instead of making changes and bringing it to public as a done deal. He says Turner County residents asked questions and made comments for over two hours last week.
Turner County’s planning and zoning board will take up the issue again today.
