SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The South Dakota Democratic Party says the Governor’s Blue Ribbon panel on education left the biggest items undecided or incomplete.

Task force member and Representative Paula Hawks says there was no agreement on capital outlay levies, student to teacher ratios or timing of changes.

Hawk says she and Senator Billie Sutton and Senator Troy Heinert will offer a comprehensive plan prior the next session of the South Dakota Legislature.

State Senator Troy Heinerts says the goal is to have specific recommendations that the legislature and Governor can accept.
