SIOUX FALLS (KELO AM) - The 24th Annual Parade of Lights presented by CenturyLink is set for Friday, November 27, at 7:30 p.m. along historic Phillips Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls.
The parade route begins at 14th Street and Phillips Avenue and continues South on Phillips until 5th Street.
Parking meters will be tagged by early afternoon on Friday and there will be no parking on Phillips from 14th to 5th and parts of Main from approximately 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Free parking is available after 5:00pm in the 1st Avenue Ramp and other private lots and ramps. Visit siouxfallsparking.org for more information.
5:15 p.m. Street Closures:
- Main Avenue between 14th and 17th Streets- Phillips Avenue between 14th and 18th Streets- 17th Street between Phillips and Main Avenues
6:15 p.m. Closures:
- 14th Street from Main to 1st Avenues- Phillips Avenue from 14th to 5th Street- 5th Street from Phillips to Main Avenues- Main Avenue from 6th to 5th Street
Streets will reopen when the parade is over around 8:30 or 8:45 p.m.
